Tulsa Topics: Rick Westcott's camp holding a candidate reception

I rec'd the following email alerting me to an upcoming reception for Rick Westcott. Rick Westcott is one of the Republican candidates vying for the District 2 City Council spot. Here's the email -

Dear Friends,

As you are probably aware, Rick Westcott is running for Tulsa’s City Council from District 2.

We are having a Reception on Monday, January 23, 2006, from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. It will be at the Embers Steakhouse, at 81st & Harvard.

We’ll provide light hors d’oeuvres, soft drinks and wine.

Please feel free to come and go at your convenience. We’d like to give you the opportunity to talk with Rick and find out how you can support his campaign.

There is one other Republican opponent in his race, but there aren’t any Democrats. So, the primary election on March 7th will determine the next City Councilor from District 2. There will not be a general election for this race.

Please excuse the informality of an e-mail invitation. We are, after all, fiscal conservatives!
