Eminent Domain in Tulsa
Tulsa Topics is making a list...... and a New Poll (see right)
Since the Whirled buried this story on Friday. I thought I would start a running list of the candidates that supported a moratorium of eminent domain being used on private property for private purposes. NewsOK/The Oklahoman has better coverage on this than the Whirled.
Of course this doesn't surprise me, they still haven't reported on these stories located here and here either.

You need a "dodging the issue" column for those who refuse to say one way or the other.

Since I haven't been able to attend all of the candidate functions, I'm not sure who I would put in the "dodging the issue" column.
I'm open to adding that column to the list. Do you have any names?

fwiw - i think that eminent domain is abused by government as well.
that being said, anybody who supports eminent domain by private party is pretty much Un-American, ready to erode the American dream, and will pay homage to greedy land grabber developers who rape and pillage our hillsides, leaving their waste behind them.
these candidates are also likely to pay homage to realtors who understand one thing - commi$$ion.
the more that is built - the more money both parties (developers/realtors) make.
they strip long time residents of their family history and replace it with hi-rise condos where the property tax base is stacked on top of each other in what are nothing more than slightly glorified apartments being sold as expensive boxed-in air of massive liability.
if you or anybody you know has an eminent domain horror story - email it to hannity and colmes at
itcouldhappentoyou @foxnews.com.
that email speaks for itself. we could only hope that those who support eminent domain by private party could suffer the same fate themselves.
