Question # 1 - For a walkable downtown, visitors need destinations to walk to. What are your ideas for bringing businesses and cultural destinations downtown?

Question # 2 - Do you believe more development in North & West Tulsa is important for the renewal of downtown, and if so; what would you do to accomplish more development North & West of the city's center?

Since OSU Tulsa has WiFi available on their campus. I plan on attempting to "live blog" this event. Currently I have my camera, digital recorders, and laptop at the ready. Check back frequently for updates and news as it breaks from OSU Tulsa!

6:00 PM - Rebecca Bryant,current President of Tulsa Now, has started the forum with a explaination of what Tulsa Now is all about. If your interested in learning more about this organization check out the Tulsa Now website.

6:10 PM - Ken Busby, Director of the Arts and Humanities Council, is now talking about the A&HC. As well as explaining the forum format. Each candidate will have 2 minutes to address the questions.

6:13 PM - Kelly Clark is first to give out opening statements.

NOTE: I'm also capturing audio of this event that will be posted on Tulsa Topics.

6:14 PM - LaFortune opening statements.

6:17 PM - Kathy Taylor opening statements. Mentions "form based zoning"

6:19 PM - Randi Miller opening statements. Highes crime rate. 9th worst streets.

6:21 PM - Don McCorkell opening statements. Jane Jacobs mention. 18 years of experience as legislator. Nursing home reform. Quality Jobs Bill. Main Street program. Preservation vs. Formation of capital.

6:23 - Chris Medlock opening statements. Planner. 30 years without comprehensive plan.

6:25 - Ben Faulk opening statements. Illegal Immigration.

6:27 - Paul Tay opening statements. "All things weird Tulsa". Head near toilet after hearing "I'm excited" campaign slogans one too many times.
