Parallelisms

Living on Tulsa Time pretty much sums up my thoughts about the 3rd Penny passage. Every time Tulsans vote to tax ourselves to death prosperity, I can't help but think of this quote from Winston Churchill:

“We contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.” Winston Churchill
Which reminds me of another parallelism that I hear recently:
"Going to war for peace is like screwing for virginity." Unkown
