Tulsa Topics: Has it been really busy or is it just me?

I have a hunch that the I'm not the only one that's been bit by the busy bug lately. Looking at recent posts from the Tulsa Bloggers, or make that lack of posts, I have a feeling that everyone has been busy as of late. Some of my time has been divided with designing websites and doing Virtual Tour photo shoots, but it hasn't been all work and no play this Spring.

Since coming back from vacation, I've found it hard to get the "blogging juices" flowing so I've been posting a number of pictures lately. If you haven't figured it out yet, I love photography and wish I was better at it. They say that "practice makes perfect" so between "work" photo shoots and "play" photo shoots, I've racked up about 2,000 pictures this week alone on my camera. Thankfully I don't have to take them someplace to be developed since everything I shoot is digital!

To try and get back into the blogging groove, I attended the Tulsa City Council meeting on June 15th. I have my notes and audio from the meeting and have a general idea about what I want to write, but I haven't been motivated enough to pound out an entry on the keyboard yet. Fellow Tulsa Bloggers have some entries regarding this meeting. The Council approved the budget, but not unanimously with two councilors voting "nay". Hopefully I'll post something regarding my take on the mixed vote.

I've added a few "link blog" links at the top that I found interesting. One deals with how to protect yourself from identity theft and the other is about website design. Make sure you check the link blog from time to time for the "good stuff" that I run across when I surf the web. Since there's no reason to waste bandwidth with an entry here at Tulsa Topics, I opt for posting the link via the "link blog." Call me lazy......

This weekend's theme was Freedom Live 2006. I was fortunate enough to see Third Day on Friday night and the Newsboys on Saturday night. Both groups were most outstanding! I took many pictures and will post them tomorrow sometime. I snapped off three pictures of a beautiful sunset after we parked the car and were headed indoors to see tonight's concert.
