Sky Art
On Friday night, my wife and I decided to catch the Drillers after game fireworks display. We parked in the Walgreens parking lot across from the stadium and sat on the tailgate to watch the show. A TPD officer came by and moved people back from the street and warned people this was the area the fallout and sparks would land. I got a few pictures of the fireworks display, but the officer was right.... we were really close to the action. When you come home smelling like sulphur from the gun powder, you may just be too close. (Note: clicking on the picture will open up a larger version)
Our Tulsa World snapped some pictures of the event as well. We both have Canon cameras and I'm still learning how to use the numerous settings on mine. This week alone I have gone on five photo shoots, two for business and three for fun.
Today I plan on checking out the Rumble & Roll event taking place on Brookside. Maybe I'll snap a few pics there as well.
